Apple Launches Its Thinnest iPhone Ever – iPhone Air

Apple launches its thinnest iPhone ever, the iPhone Air. The new model is just 5.6 mm thick and comes with a titanium frame on both sides. CEO Tim Cook said it offers pro performance in a thin and light design. It features a 6.5-inch ProMotion display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Pre-orders begin on September 12 and sales start from September 19. It will be available in space black, cloud white, light gold, and sky blue.

The iPhone Air runs on Apple’s new A19 Pro chip with a six-core CPU, which Apple claims is the fastest smartphone processor available. The phone promises excellent power efficiency with iOS 26’s Adaptive Power feature and the N1 wireless chip that cuts energy use by up to 30 per cent. The price starts at Rs 1,19,900.

Apple has added a 48MP Fusion main camera and an improved Center Stage front camera. The new front camera has a wide field of view and lets users take selfies in portrait or landscape without rotating the phone. The main camera supports 28mm and 35mm focal lengths and performs well in low light. There is also a 2x telephoto option for capturing detailed and vibrant images.
