Swiggy Launches Toing App in Pune to Serve Budget-Friendly Food

Swiggy, one of India’s top food delivery platforms, has rolled out a new app called *Toing*, aimed at consumers looking for affordable meal options. Unlike its usual practice of testing new features in Bengaluru, Swiggy has chosen Pune as the first market for Toing. Industry sources suggest that the company sees greater growth opportunities in Pune compared to Bengaluru, which is already highly saturated. Initially, Toing will be limited to a few regions in the city.

The app is designed to cater mainly to students and young professionals who are conscious of their spending. It lists meals priced between ₹99 and ₹149, making it an attractive option for those on a tight budget. Restaurants offering pocket-friendly meals are onboarded, and the menu includes a wide variety of popular dishes such as biryani, noodles, sandwiches, dosas, pizzas, parathas, kebabs, and ice creams. Some items are even available below ₹99, and deliveries are promised within 30 minutes.

Swiggy already runs another standalone app, Snacc, which focuses on micro-kitchens and private labels. With Toing, however, the company is directly partnering with eateries to expand the availability of low-cost meals. The app is currently live on both the Play Store and App Store and has already crossed 500 downloads.
