SuperQ Quantum Computing Inc., a global leader in quantum and supercomputing, has announced a strategic partnership with Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPark) to establish Asia’s first Quantum Super™ Hub at SPark’s SoiLAB facility in the UAE. The collaboration, announced on August 18, 2025, also includes the creation of a local entity, “SuperQ Computing Middle East,” aimed at expanding commercial operations across the UAE, the wider Middle East, and Asia.
This new Super Hub will offer enterprises, government bodies, and researchers on-site access to SuperQ’s flagship Super™ platform—a hybrid system that integrates quantum annealing, gate-based quantum computing, and classical supercomputing, all usable via natural language interface. The infrastructure is already installed and preparations are underway for a formal opening scheduled in September.
The hub will also incorporate AI capabilities, leveraging SuperQ’s partnership with Staque through its Que autonomous intelligence framework. The facility will support strategic initiatives in logistics optimization, energy efficiency, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare. This effort aligns with the UAE’s growing leadership in AI and aims to position the country at the forefront of quantum-computing advancements.
Located in University City, SPark serves as a vibrant nexus connecting academia, industry, and government. Anchored by the American University of Sharjah and the University of Sharjah, SPark offers infrastructure for research, innovation, business support, and funding. The project aligns with SPark’s broader strategy, under the leadership of H.E. Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi and CEO H.E. Hussain Al Mahmoudi, to establish Sharjah as a global hub for emerging technologies with a commitment of approximately $150 million.
