Anant Raj Announces ₹4,500 Crore Investment for Data Centres in Andhra Pradesh

Anant Raj Ltd has entered into an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government to invest ₹4,500 crore in developing large-scale data centres and a cloud-based IT park in the state. The company plans to execute the project through its subsidiary, Anant Raj Cloud Pvt Ltd.

The investment will be rolled out in two phases and is expected to significantly strengthen the digital infrastructure ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh. According to the company, the project has the potential to create around 8,500 direct jobs and 7,500 indirect jobs once fully operational.

This move adds to Anant Raj’s broader expansion in the data-centre segment. The company is already working on developing 307 MW of capacity across multiple locations, while it currently operates 28 MW at its facilities in Manesar and Panchkula.

Officials from the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board will support the project by coordinating with various government departments to ensure smooth implementation.
